Trips for 2012

After driving the Xterra, the dogs, and a trailer up to Canada for two months of hiking and cooler temperatures last summer I am anxious to get on the road for motorcycle trips. Lots of possibilities for 2012, but nothing solid yet.

Maintenance is needed before hitting the road. I'd like to get the center stand shortened so I can actually get my lowered F650 on the center stand myself even if it requires removing all the cases beforehand. After that I need to do bearing maintenance for both the swingarm and the front and rear wheels. Having never done any of that before it should be an interesting learning experience.
